I believe in the power of nature and adventure…
I spent most of my formative years travelling around the world, living a real adventure. I was working as a nutritional chef, sailing all over the globe, experiencing different foods, cultures and people. Every day a new experience. Quite a contrast from growing up in London. I love the unknown, the simple pleasures and surprises in life - or so I thought, until my biggest adventure… motherhood, kind of knocked me for six. Finding the balance of self care and being a good parent, has been a big adventure. Finding our way through big transitions is a part of life.
So this site is dedicated to the practices that I use to keep me connected to myself and the world around me. To help me to be a good parent, but also to give myself the time to really check in with myself. I hope you enjoy navigating it as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
My training includes: Pause Place Transformational Coach, Zen Leadership Coach, Yin Yoga & Vinyasa teacher, Yoga Nidra & Meditation, Visualisation, Crystal Sound Bowl, Nutritional Healing Foundation Diploma, Nutritional Chef.
A woman in the modern world…
I live in London with two small children, which is quite the contrast. Becoming a mother has been the biggest and hardest adventure of my life so far. Balancing life can be hard, really hard. Looking after yourself is a huge part of that, something I certainly did not get right at all. Does anyone though?! I got extremely burnt out and this website is a homage to that. All the things I have learnt and tools I have collected and trainings I have done along the way. To empower women to keep connecting on this adventure we call life…
Nature is a huge part of what keeps me grounded, I always thought if we lived fully with the seasons our bodies would become more balanced. Today in the modern world we are 90% attached to a tablet or computer and living in a virtual reality. Moving at a ridiculous pace, for what? Our brains can’t keep up and neither can our bodies. I try and spend as much time outside as possible, going at a slow pace is my natural rhythm. Even just sitting and breathing under a tree for 5 minutes a day can bring us back to our natural rhythms.
